3 ideas to make drinking water fun

When temperatures rise, it is strongly recommended that you drink water regularly throughout the day to stay hydrated

Water is vital for our bodies to function properly. In the summer, we are often tempted to drink sugary or flavored drinks. Here are 3 original ideas to help you fight the urge and enjoy drinking water. These drinks can easily be made at home. All you need is bottled water and a few fresh and healthy ingredients.

1 – Lemonade

  • 1 liter of bottled water
  • 1 lemon
  • Juice from ½ a lemon
  • Mint leaves


  1. Slice the lemon and put it in the water
  2. Add the juice from ½ a lemon
  3. Place the mint leaves in the water and mix to infuse

Enjoy it chilled throughout the day

2- Green Water

  • ½ cucumber
  • ½ lemon
  • Mint leaves


  1. Wash the cucumber and lemon
  2. Fill a jug with bottled water and add the lemon and cucumber slices
  3. Add the mint leaves and leave it to infuse in the fridge overnight

The next day, enjoy as much as you’d like!

 3 – Fresh Fruit Water: Kiwi, Strawberry

  • 500 ml of water
  • 3-4 fresh strawberries (washed)
  • 1 kiwi
  • A few fresh mint leaves


  1. Slice the fruit and add it to jar or large glass of water
  2. Add a few leaves of fresh mint
  3. Leave it to cool in the fridge for 15-20 min so that the fruit infuses into the water

Enjoy as much as you’d like!
